Ways to Give and Get Involved
VolunteerAs the park planning and design progresses into the construction phase, more opportunities will become available for individuals and groups to volunteer in outreach, programming or preservation projects of the park. At this early stage of park development, there are a few ways that you can help including providing office support, joining a fundraising team, and participating in community outreach through park tours or a simple speaker’s bureau. Make a Contribution
We encourage you to consider making a contribution to help support ‘The Fork’ by making a tax-deductible contribution.

Acquisitions
In order to provide additional connectivity of the multi-use recreational trail, we still need to acquire certain key parcels. We also see opportunities for parkland expansion. This money would fund these acquisitions.
Park Development
We have received $38,000,000 in federal funding, for improvements in the park. There are some types of amenities that these transportation dollars cannot build (such as forest restoration, ball fields, playgrounds). These funds would allow us to complete the park development portion of the Master Plan with these amenities.
We encourage you to consider making a contribution to help support ‘The Fork’ by making a tax-deductible contribution. Please know that 100% of your contribution will directly support ‘The Fork’. All of the overhead costs of 21st Century Parks are covered by a grant from Mr. and Mrs. David A. Jones and Family.
